By using Beds.ie you agree to the following terms and conditions.

The Terms and Conditions apply to all Phone and Web Orders.


Delivery times for stocked items usually takes 2 to 10 working days from order.

Please allow lead times / availability times for unstocked items to reach us at beds.ie. Non stock items are quoted on the website on each product page, if you are unsure of the lead time / availability time please contact us @ 01 524 1950.

If the lead time (for item(s) not stocked) and delivery times take over the time period stated, a member of the beds.ie team will be in touch to inform you of the expected delivery date, consequently customers have the right to cancel their order and receive a full refund.


Privacy policy as per the Data Protection Acts

Beds.ie respects the privacy of its consumers. Information about you will not be shared with anyone outside the company. On some occasions we may want to tell you about our fantastic offers which will be sent by e-mail you can opt out of this service at any time by contacting beds.ie.


Beds, Bedframes, Mattress Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds for returned products will be issued when beds.ie are satisfied that all Terms and Conditions of return and cancellation policy have been adhered to.

We are committed to customer satisfaction and offer a full returns service on faulty goods. If the goods are found to be faulty on delivery, the item(s) should be returned with the driver and reported to beds.ie while the driver is still present. If the item(s) is found to be faulty within one year of purchase, please write to or e-mail us at dreamz@beds.ie , stating your order reference, nature of the problem and attaching/enclosing clear photographs depicting the problem. We are sorry but Beds.ie are unable to look into such claims if photographic evidence is not supplied. No items may be returned to us without prior agreement.

You may cancel your order at any time up until you receive your order for a full refund of the purchase value if the items are unused (items that have been assembled are considered to be used). Items that are not stocked by beds.ie including special sizes or colours can only be cancelled if we are able to cancel said item(s) with the manufacturer. There will be no returns made for personalised goods.

We (beds.ie) will not be liable for any damage caused to your property or house contents, if due responsibly has been taken by the employees of beds.ie. The customer should ensure that the entrance and area where the product(s) is directed, are clear of any obstructions and that there is reasonable room to build (if necessary) and manoeuvre the product(s) - path ways must be clear of pictures/mirrors/lamps/lightshades etc. For full details of the terms and conditions of our Delivery Policy please click on the link called Delivery Policy.

Beds & Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened.

Beds & Mattresses, which have been opened or slept on, cannot be returned (for hygiene reasons). If you wish to test a product(s) that you are unsure of, please keep it sealed in its original packaging and inform beds.ie drivers, that you want the product to remain sealed until you have tested it. A mattress can be tested for comfort whilst it is still inside the packaging and therefore for hygiene reasons once the packaging has been opened the product will then be classed as used and cannot be returned. You have 14 days to inform beds.ie, if you want the product uplifted. Returning your product(s) will incur a charge of up to 150 Euros per item and the item will be checked to ensure that it has remained sealed and is still in its original condition. This charge will be deducted from your refund.


Failed Delivery Attempt

Beds.ie drivers cannot complete a delivery if there is no one present at the delivery destination on the pre-arranged day. If there is no one present then the product(s) cannot be signed for, therefore we will contact you to arrange another delivery date. However, an additional charge for failed delivery attempt can cost up to 150 Euros.


Delivery

Our delivery service applies to the mainland of Ireland. For delivery to any outer Islands, please email dreamz@beds.ie for a quote.

Reasons for delay or non-delivery could be: During holiday periods e.g.: Christmas, Easter. Unforeseen circumstances, such as, but not limited to, lock-outs, strikes, riots, malicious damage, labour disturbances, trade disputes, government action, (including action by any local or statutory authority), fire, floods, vehicle breakdown, acts of God, delays by suppliers or any other cause whatsoever beyond our control. If we cannot deliver stock items within 6 weeks for any reason, we will update you by e-mail or telephone as to the progress of your order, advising you of the anticipated delivery date. We will contact you by email or telephone once your product(s) is ready for dispatch. We will offer you a choice of either accepting with the revised estimated delivery date or cancellation with a full refund.

Please note that as a safety precaution, we advise that you the customer affix free standing furniture to walls upon delivery to avoid toppling. Some wardrobes and chest of drawers will come with fittings, for those that don’t such fittings are easily accessible at your local hardware store or online. Please note that our delivery personnel cannot fit such mechanisms and that we do not assume any liability should accidents occur.


Guarantee

Manufacturer guarantees and warranties vary from 1 year to 10 years depending on the type of product. If for any reason, you find our products in poor condition or with a manufacturing fault, please email us to dreamz@beds.ie- attaching clear photographic evidence of the defect. Please read the care instructions that have been attached to the mattress. For any replacement(s) required beds.ie will try to remedy with identical material but if the material is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute with a material supplied to us by our suppliers. Guarantees will not be valid if the product has been misused, i.e. No mattress protector is used, mattress is soiled or un-hygienic, excessive wear and tear from jumping on the mattress, overloading of the drawers, mattress being bent or torn or/and mattress is used in conjunction with an old base.


Mattress Comfort Levels

Mattress comfort levels are subjective to the person and any rating on the website is made as a guide to help you to choose the right firmness. These ratings are supplied to us by the manufactures as such we have no input in deciding this.

How a mattress feels to you will be dictated by your height, weight, gender, sleeping position, and personal preferences. The firmness that’s right for you is ultimately up to personal preference. The firmness level you choose is up to you, consider your sleep position, body type, weight, and budget when making this decision. The larger you are, whether in body weight or height, the more downward pressure your body will exert on a mattress. Heavier individuals tend to experience medium and firm mattresses as soft, whereas lightweight individuals might experience traditionally soft mattresses as not soft enough.

When you get your new mattress, please test it. Ensure that the packaging remains unopened until you are completely happy with it. If you are unhappy with the firmness of your mattress when you receive it, please bear in mind that we are unable to accept a mattress for return if it has been opened and used. Mattresses can be returned UNOPENED and still sealed but a delivery charge of up to €150 can apply.


Mattress settlement

Mattresses need care from new, we recommend that you turn and rotate your mattresses weekly when new for the first 3-6 months of its life, then every month inside the first two years, after 2 years we recommend every 3 months.

If the mattress is single side the same information applies but just by rotating the mattress.

As we seem to be creatures of habit and sleep in the same side of the mattress it is normal that you will see settlement where you are sleeping and less settlement in areas that the mattress is not slept in, in larger mattresses like super king-size you will probably see a ridge forming in the middle of the mattress where it is less slept in. This would not be a cause for concern just more that the mattress is doing the job it was intended to do.

Natural filled mattresses will show settlement more but you will also get settlement in all other types of filling, there are no mattress on the market that can say that the filling won’t settle, natural settlement can be up to 2 inches (6cms).

If you find that you think you have a mattress that has unnatural amount of settlement place a level marker across the top of the mattress and with a tape measure, measure the amount of settlement in the mattress.


Damages

Items which are to be self-assembled must be inspected before assembly as damage reported after self-assembly will be deemed to have been caused by assembly. Pictures of damaged parts are to be sent to dreamz@beds.ie so we can replace the part(s) before assembly. Reported damage on a self-assembled item will be rejected if the item is built.


Payments

All products and services must be fully paid before delivery. If for any reason, beds.ie identifies customers with outstanding balances, interest will be applied. Beds.ie accepts all major credit/debit cards – Visa, MasterCard and Laser as well as PayPal. To be eligible to purchase products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website you must be over 18 years of age and the card of use must be your own. In order to combat fraud, we may from time to time ask customers to produce the card used for the transaction and/or photographic ID such as passport or driving license. We will also accept cheques or bankers drafts, however these need to be cleared (up to 10 days) with the bank before the order will be processed and dispatched as soon as possible thereafter. All credit/debit card payments made with this site are highly secure.


Prices, Descriptions and Measurements

All prices on beds.ie include Irish VAT (Currently 23%) and all transactions are subject to the distance selling regulations as laid out in European law. While every effort has been taken to provide complete, accurate and up-to-date information on our Web site, it is not possible to ensure that our site is completely free of human or technical errors. All of the firmness ratings on our website have been tested and rated by our suppliers, we do not take any reasonably as rating are to use as a guide only. Beds.ie reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions - including after an order has been submitted - and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. It should also be noted that all measurements and colours shown are approximate and a slight variation may exist in the actual goods. Due to restrictions placed upon us by some of our Manufacturers we are unable to list online all the products available to beds.ie. Just let us know what we can do to help you find the bed of your dreamz by completing an email request form (Can’t find the bed of your dreamz) or emailing us directly at dreamz@beds.ie alternatively just give us a call!
