The Chester Divan Bed by Sealy is designed to keep you cosy and comfortable each and every time you go to sleep. Some of the qualities of the Chester Mattress are:
•PostureTech Core Support Spring System: The PostureTech Core Support spring system has been exclusively engineered at Sealy to provide support where it is needed the most. As pressure on the spring system increases, the springs get gradually firmer, to provide deep down support and pressure relief, applying the correct level of support for you. Tucked inside the spring unit, Edge Guard works in unison to extend the sleeping area and provide added durability.
•Edge-to-Edge Support: Edge support is the amount of resistance a mattress provides around the edges. More edge support means less sagging and falling towards the edge. Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. Edge support is most common in mattresses that have coils with side support systems or foam mattresses that have extra foam structure on the sides.
•Natural Fillings/Wool: Natural Fillings, such as silk, cashmere or wool are ideal for several reasons. Not only for the feel of the fillings but for the warmth and comfort. Natural fillings are also a better environmental choice for mattresses as they can decompose quicker at the end of your mattress life. Natural fillings are breathable too, which helps to keep your mattress feeling fresher for longer. Natural fillings also tend to be budget friendly, hypo-allergenic and chemical free (NB: not all natural fillings are chemical free).
•Quilted Top: Quilted mattresses provide a sleeping surface with a much smoother and even finish. This is possible because the mattress either doesn’t require tufts or its design allows the tufts to be hidden. Quilted mattresses are no problem for open coil spring systems as the tufts aren’t needed due to the spring system being one complete unit.

NON-DRAWER DIVAN
This bed comes as a standard divan bed. The base is constructed from solid and sturdy materials for a reliable and durable performance throughout the year, sitting upon chrome gliders to provide easy movement across the floor when required whilst minimizing damage done to the floor. It includes a StayTight™ lid fabric, designed to keep the mattress firmly in place and this bed base can be used with both strutted and full height headboards. It is available in nine different fabric colours of varying fabrics (please consult images above and contact us for a sample). This base DOES NOT come with drawers but a two drawer or four drawer version is available elsewhere on our website. Please note that the headboard is NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE but you can find the matching headboard by clicking here.. A selection of colours is also available on our website, with a variety of different fabric types.
